Miller Wenhold Association Management provides the Maryland Society of Surveyors full service administration of its board of directors, committees, membership recruitment and retention, financial management, marketing and public relations, as well as meetings, continuing education, and conferences.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR LOBBYING & ETHICS
The trade association for the lobbying profession, NILE’s mission is to enhance the development of professionalism, competence, and high ethical standards for advocates in the public policy arena. NILE collectively address challenges which affect the first amendment right to "petition the government for redress of grievances," and promote ethical lobbying through its Lobbying Code of Ethics.

SUBSURFACE UTILITY ENGINEERING ASSOCIATION
A group of owners of subsurface utility engineering firms approached Miller Wenhold Association Management with an idea - is there a market for a SUE association? MWAM conducted an assessment, market study, and outreach campaign. Based on those results, MWAM organized a kick-off conference, wrote bylaws, filed registration documents, oversaw the election of a board of directors, and launched the Subsurface Utility Engineering Association as a 501(c)(6) trade association, and now provides all aspects of association management for the organization.

VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION OF SURVEYORS
The Virginia Association of Surveyors relies on Miller Wenhold Association Management for total day-to-day operation of its organization. MWAM supports the board of directors, committees, chapters, education programs, government affairs management, public affairs, and an annual convention.

U.S. GEOSPATIAL EXECUTIVES ORGANIZATION
The U.S. Geospatial Executives Organization (U.S. GEO) was formed by Miller Wenhold Association Management to meet an unfulfilled niche in the geospatial community -- a forum for principals, owners, and partners who are C-level executives in leading geospatial firms to discuss issues of mutual interest, work collaboratively to promote beneficial public policies, have a liaison with and access to key government officials, and build lasting relationships.

BUSINESS COALITION FOR FAIR COMPETITION
The "'Yellow Pages' Test" state that if government is providing a product or services that is also available from a private sector company in the Yellow Pages of the telephone book, that activity should be evaluated for potential private sector performance through direct conversion, contracting out, vouchers, asset sales and leases, public-private partnerships, privatization, divestiture, and other instruments to transfer activities from the government to the private sector. MWAM manages the Business Coalition for Fair Competition (BCFC) to provide a united voice for businesses, individuals, associations, think tanks and other like-minded advocates for government reliance on private enterprise, rather than unfair government competition through education, public affairs, and advocacy.

COUNCIL ON FEDERAL PROCUREMENT OF ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING SERVICES
For more than 35 years, Miller Wenhold Association Management has been a recognized expert on the "Brooks Act", a unique Federal law that provides for qualification based selection (QBS) of firms as professional services contractors to the government for architectural, engineering (A&E) and related services. COFPAES is a coalition of leading trade associations and professional societies in the A&E field that relies on MWAM to provide an effective, unified voice to preserve, protect, defend, and promote QBS through advocacy, education, and intersociety coordination and collaboration.
